Trainer's Day Privacy Policy

Trainer's Day is an app made by LogiNestForge ("we", "us") in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and the choices you have. It applies under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who this covers

Personal trainers who use the app ("you"), and the clients whose details you enter. For your own account details we are the controller. For your clients' details you are the controller and we process them on your behalf only to run the app.

What we store

• Your account: your Google account name, email address and a user ID, used to sign you in. Trainer's Day only supports Google sign-in; we never see your password.
• What you enter: clients (name and, if you add them, phone number, email address, preferences and private notes), bookings and their locations, questionnaire answers (goals, experience, availability, equipment and any movements a client wants to take care with, which can be health-related information), session preparation, session records, programmes and templates.
• Settings: your business name, time zone and reminder preferences.
• Pro status: whether you have Trainer's Day Pro comes from Google Play. We never see your payment details.

How we use it and our lawful basis

• To sign you in, store your diary and records, and sync them between your devices — contract (providing the app you asked for).
• Client details, including health-related questionnaire answers, are processed on your instructions as a processor. As the controller you are responsible for having a lawful basis and, for health information, a condition under UK GDPR Article 9, such as your client's explicit consent.

We don't use your data for advertising, profiling or analytics, and we don't sell or share it.

Where it is stored

In Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) in the London region (europe-west2), in an area only your signed-in account can read or write. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google. A copy is kept on your phone so the app works offline; it is cleared when you sign out. The app opts out of Android cloud backup.

There are no advertising, analytics or crash-tracking SDKs in the app.

Notifications and permissions

Trainer's Day asks to send notifications only when you switch reminders on. Reminder text on the lock screen never includes client names, notes or questionnaire answers. The app doesn't use your camera, photos, contacts, microphone or location.

Sharing

Data only leaves the app when you choose to send it: exporting your account or a client, sharing a programme or questionnaire through your phone's share sheet, or calling, texting or emailing a client with your phone's own apps.

Children

Trainer's Day is a business tool for fitness professionals and isn't intended for use by anyone under 18.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete it. Deleting a client removes that client and their history. Deleting your account removes everything; nothing is kept afterwards, apart from Google Play's own purchase records.

Your choices and rights

• Export: More › Export lets you download your whole account or a single client.
• Delete: delete a single client and their history, or your whole account, in the app (More › Delete account). If you can't use the app, email us and we'll delete your account within 30 days.
• Clients: if you're a trainer's client and want a copy of your details or want them deleted, ask your trainer, who can export or delete them in the app. You can also contact us and we'll pass your request on.

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, and to data portability. Email support@loginestforge.uk to exercise any of these rights. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if the app changes the way it handles personal data. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
