What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how their site is used.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off.

• lnf-cookie-consent: remembers your cookie choice (1 year). The same choice is also kept in your browser's local storage.
• admin_token: keeps staff signed in to the admin area (7 days, secure and HTTP-only). Only set if you sign in.

Analytics (optional)

Only if you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Neither is loaded before you accept. Clarity records how you scroll and click on pages; it masks text you type into forms. Google and Microsoft may process this data in the United States.

• _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics, distinguishes visitors (up to 2 years)
• _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID: Microsoft Clarity, links page views into a session (1 day to 1 year)

In-browser counters (optional)

With your consent we also keep a small set of values in your browser's localStorage — currently just the slugs of blog posts you've opened on this device — so we can show you a personalised number on the blog page easter egg. This data:

• Never leaves your device. Nothing is sent to LogiNestForge or any third party.
• Is wiped automatically the moment you switch your choice to Decline optional.
• Can be cleared on demand from the blog easter egg itself, or by clearing site data in your browser.

Your choices

When you first visit the site we show a banner asking whether to accept optional cookies. You can:

• Accept all — enables analytics and the in-browser blog-view counter described above.
• Decline optional — only strictly necessary cookies are used; any previously accumulated optional data is cleared immediately.

To change your decision at any time, use Cookie settings (also in the site footer). If you withdraw consent, analytics stop straight away; you can also delete existing analytics cookies in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the site would not work without them.
